Nokia’s New Device Shows A Bigger Touch Pattern
Nokia recently released information on the upcoming Nokia N8 . This sexy new device will hit store shelves in Q3 2010. What is so exciting about the new handset? Nokia’s newest touch-screen device will feature an impressive 12 megapixel camera including a Carl Zeiss Lens. Additionally, the handset will be able to take HD video at 720p resolution. Combine all these optic assets with a xenon flash, and you’ll be taking some awesome snaps with the N8. Nokia’s N8 will also be the first device to run the new Symbian^3 operating system. Looking at Nokia’s Q1 2010 Earnings Report [Bad News]
Bad quarter for Nokia. Nokia reported earnings for the first quarter of 2010 on Thursday, and wow: it’s pretty cringe-worthy. Wall Street is all about the numbers, and Nokia missed *nearly* all of ‘em: Profits were 349 million euros on sales of 9.52 billion – analysts projected 370 million euros on sales of 9.81 billion.

Google Maps Updated to v4.10, Adds Voice Search
The good old Google Maps just got better on the symbian version with the update to v4.1 . As seen in its clients across several mobile platforms, voice commands seem to be the theme for mobile applications this season and it finally lands on the Google Maps client for the symbian version.
