If there were any lingering doubts about Bell releasing the HTC Legend Gadget, those doubts can be put to rest.  According to a source form  Canadian mobile phone network Bell is planning a launch party in Montreal for May 27 th .  There is no word on whether or not this launch party coincides with the specific launch date for the HTC Legend, some other people are hearing that it will be released in early June, there is one thing it certainly does prove and that is another great smartphone unlocked hitting the Canadian market.

In true Vertu fashion the high-end mobile phone company has silently announced an updated model in their lineup of ridiculously priced mobile devices.  The new Vertu Ascent for 2010 has recently been lined with a whole slew of new features.  Some of these new additions include quad-band 3G, GPS, preloaded maps for navigation, 5 megapixel camera, and will come in 8GB or 32GB memory configurations along with titanium and aircraft grade aluminum casings.  Like many of the other devices in the Vertu lineup the new Vertu Ascent will also come in an array of colors. If you are looking to drop a pretty penny on your cell phone then you will definitely want to check out the new Vertu Ascent.  Going for upwards of $5,000 this mobile device is certainly not for everybody.  The ultimate status symbol when it comes to mobile phones the Vertu Ascent was due for a few upgrades to be more in line with all of the other smartphones on the market today.

After many months of waiting and reading internet rumors about Unlocked HTC’s HD2 it appears that this new smartphone on the network is finally in stock online and apparently at many corporate owned retail locations.  While this is overall good news for the smartphone community there is a bit of bad news attached to this as well.  It appears that the carrier is only offering these new HD2 devices to new customers signing up for a fresh contract meaning that current T-Mobile subscribers are unable to upgrade from their current device to this state of the art handset.
