Now if your are reading this post right now I am assuming that you are some sort of a Nokia fan like me and all the other amazing writers on this blog, but this preview of the Motorola Droid X for the Verizon network in America(presumably for Europe with another name like the Milestone) by Joanna Stern for engadget got me thinking. Have you as a Nokia fan been tempted to move away to another platform such as Android, Palm OS , Windows Phone 7 and dare I say iPhone 4 ?

Android Now Outselling iPhone [REPORT]

Smartphones carrying Google’s Android operating system outsold the iPhone in the first quarter of 2010, according to new research out today from NPD. During the quarter, Android (Android) handsets accounted for 28% of smartphone sales, beating out iPhone OS and its 21% share.

No more unlimited plans from O2 since iPhone launch

Knowing that the recent launch of the   IPhone 4 Unlocked gadget would set tongues wagging, OS2 has taken preventive measures by discontinuing all their unlimited data plans. So do not expect to gain any adjusted rates for a current unlimited plan you might have from O2. Starting from 24 th June, all users of O2 will now have to spend to avail of internet package plans

LG’s guide to Android

Google’s Android operating system is quickly overtaking Apple’s share of the smartphone market – with Google activating 100,000 new Android phones everyday, compared with just 30,000 daily last year. Google state they are shipping 9 million Android phones every quarter compared to 8.75 million iPhones*, a truly meteoric rise for an operating system that was only launched in late 2008.

YouTube Play: You Tube and Guggenheim Search For World’s Most Creative Videos

YouTube Play is a joint initiative by You Tube and the Guggenheim museum which aims to recognize You Tube’s transformative influence on the online video medium. In collaboration with HP, YouTube has created this global event to recognize the world’s top 20 most creative videos featured on YouTube.
