can bsnl reduce speed of perticuler number?
hi i m a happy user of evdo my average download is 10 to 15 gb per month.i m from rajkot (gujarat).last month i downloaded 29 gb and from 1st of may i only getting 700 to 800 kbps otherwise i generally get 1.2mbps to 1.6 mbps when downloadin with rapidleech sites or mediafire with use of download manager.from date of purchse if i directly download from rs or hotfile i never go past of 200 or 300 kbps.so i use rapidleech sites.now my question is if anyone download heavily during a month.can bsnl limit speed of that perticuler device or user? anyone here who face similer problem?

It’s been a day since Ubuntu 10.04 was released (at the time I wrote this tutorial), and I just couldn’t resist to upgrade from 9.10 to the latest 10.04. I had seen members reporting that configuring BSNL EVDO under Ubuntu 9.10 in Network Manager doesn’t let the device to connect to the Internet.

Zte device working only in 1X mode after uploading of roaming prl
dear members, i tried to upload the roaming prl to my zte 8700 device but now the device has stopped working in evdo mode . even after setting evdo mode in dialer window and saving when i try to connect it says the remote computer did not respond ….etc.The device is working fine in 1x mode. Can anyone help
