BlackBerry Curve 8910 Spotted at Case-Mate’s booth?
RIM has a good reputation in the trade exhibition world: it seldom attains any declarations of interest or effect during events, but if you look hard adequate, you still could just find something spicy. AT&T proposes $18 million settlement for New Jersey ETF lawsuit
I just received an interesting email from AT&T and thought I would share it with all my PinStack friends who are concerned with ETF’s. See the attached image to see and read more clearly. Should the court approve this settlement, any current or former US customer of AT&T Mobility who was charged a flat-rate ETF any time from January 1, 1998 through November 4, 2009, can submit a claim form to receive up to $140 By settling the case now, AT&T avoids having to argue that users 23 months into their contracts should have to pay the same ETF as someone who just signed up

Motorola Files Patent Complaint Against RIM
The never ending myriad of lawsuits in the smartphone market has added another to it’s ranks. This time, it’s Motorola who has filed a patent infringement claim against RIM with the ITC (International Trade Commission), seeking not only monetary compensation, but to have the sale of RIM devices using the patents, banned in the U.S

AdMob Quarterly Report: Android Numbers Almost Doubled Again

Chevy Volt To Get Smartphone Control
Twice.com reports: GM’s OnStar subsidiary will offer smartphone applications that will let Chevy Volt owners control key vehicle functions and OnStar features from afar. The OnStar web app.The applications for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android phones will be available when the electric vehicle launches late this year, OnStar said.
