Over the course of a year, I use a lot of phones. It comes with the territory really; after all, it helps if you have used a wide variety of phones if you are going to write about them! At&T kicks it into overdrive, rolls out 7.2Mbps everywhere…
But there’s a catch via E ngadget Mobile : AT&T was quick to steal a smidge of T-Mobile’s thunder today with the announcement at an investor’s conference that has sped up its 7.2Mbps HSPA software upgrade to all 3G cell sites, moving up the original deadline of 2011. More Smartphone Users Now Use Their Phones to Shop Online
Key findings from Compete’s Q3 2009 Smartphone Intelligence survey include: 37 percent of smartphone owners have purchased something non-mobile with their handset in the past 6 months. 19 percent of total smartphone owners have purchased music from their device, 14 percent have purchased books, DVDs, or video games and 12 percent have purchased movie tickets

AT&T Samsung Mythic hack – Full Permissions for apps installed OTA
If you have probelm to install apps on AT&T samsung mythic with the TKFileExplorer install method , then try the new way that I find on samsung mythic forum , this is a new hacked method, it will allow full permissions to any app you can install on your phone. Also this way will work with mgmaps to allow you to see the memory car

Nokia Most Preferred Mobile Phone Brand Among University Students
According to report at Financial Times , Mobile Youth Consultancy conducted a survey among 1,000 university students in UK during November and found out that Nokia was the most preferred mobile phone brand, followed by Sony Ericsson and BlackBerry. The results of the survey conducted by Mobile Youth Consultancy are as follows: 1) Nokia : The most preferred brand with 30% share.

Nokia most popular phone brand amongst university students
Financial Times reports that according to a survey by Mobile Youth consultancy, in a sample size of [only] 1000 : Nokia was the most popular with 30% Sony Ericsson second with 27% RIM is at 2% with their BlackBerry- however growth has apparently been impressive. The article actually isn’t about Nokia but about how students are powering the growth of BlackBerry. Perception on BlackBerry is that now, they’re not just for corporate consumers

BlackBerry Tour2 9650 Already in the Wild?
Found under: BlackBerry , Tour2 , 9650 , , The original BlackBerry Tour was launched earlier this summer by both Sprint and Verizon. Only RIM could say who won the Tour battle as both Sprint and Verizon tried to be the first carrier to sell the phone in the USA and thus gain as many new subscribers as possible
