Silverlight on iPhone?

ZDNet’s Microsoft blogging guru (guru-ess?) Mary Jo is reporting on a rumor of Silverlight coming to the Apple iPhone. This is based on a WSJ report that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer may make an appearance at the upcoming Apple World Wide Developers Conference. Some are speculating that Ballmer will announce some kind of add-on for Visual Studio 2010 to support development of iPhone apps using Microsoft’s tool suite.

Google I/O Day 1 : A Brief Summary

Google kick started its Google Input / Output conference yesterday ( 19th May) and the first day of Google I/O was very exciting. Day One has lot for developers and some interesting views and applications based on HTML 5. Next-Gen iPhone To Have A Model with a White Front Panel

A Chinese website called Taobao.com has posted a few images that suggest the next-gen iPhone may come in two models: One with a black front panel (like all iPhone and iPod touch models before it), or one with a white front panel. So, if these are real images, expect a white, and traditional black iPhone models.

Verizon’s Network to Soon Support Simultaneous Voice and Data Broadcasts?

Boy Genius Report is claiming that they have received information that Verizon could be gearing up to introduce a new technology that would allow Verizon’s CDMA network to transmit both voice and data, simultaneously. This is one of the few advantages AT&T has had over Verizon, and Apple and AT&T have advertised on it.

Apple Refutes Reports of an Upcoming, Less “Pro” Release of Final Cut Pro

CNET is reporting that Apple has responded to the reports claiming that the next release of Final Cut Pro will be refocused more for “prosumers,” and away from the the “Pro” market. “Final Cut Pro is the first choice for professional video editors, and we’ve never been more excited about its future,” Apple spokesman Bill Evans told CNET
