Verizon Kills the Kin

We had got some reports from our sources that the nation’s biggest cell phone carrier will be doing away with the Microsoft Kin and this fear was confirmed as the company has later confirmed that they will indeed be doing this and pretty soon. In a recent statement which was given by the company in this relation said that they will indeed no longer be selling the Kin in both ‘One’ and ‘Two’ variants in their own flagship stores.

Space Invaders HD for the iPad allows you to relive your childhood

This is something which is always close to our heart for the people who have been into gaming when they were small. This will surely be the case when the new Space Invaders HD releases as a game on the Apple app store and can be used on the iPad. This version of Taito’s very popular game Space Invaders had released on the unlocked iPhone 4 but this new HD version is slightly different which can only be used on the iPad.

QWERTY packing Samsung Galaxy Q in the pipeline!

Samsung are rumoured to be prepping a QWERTY version of the recently released (and current Android top dog) Galaxy S based on a spec sheet that found its way on to Samsung’s Download Support page. Whilst there was no accompanying image, the spec sheet was fairly detailed and looks to point to a high-end touchscreen-qwerty hybrid though at present we can only guess on the form factor.

BlackBerry Press Event

RIM and AT&T have announced a press event to be held on August 3rd in the USA. Although RIM are not saying what this is all about it can only be one thing, the announcement of the BlackBerry 9800 Slider. Yippee! The leaked photos we have seen have shown the 9800 to be AT&T branded so if my prediction is wrong I will eat my hat.
