Comcast: Broadband subs hurt by fiber-optic rivals, economy
Comcast added 118,000 broadband Internet customers in the second quarter, a tally that was lower than some expectations. Executives said Comcast was seeing tougher competition from fiber-optic rivals Verizon and AT&T and economic doldrums.

Nissan’s Production, Sales and Export Results for June 2010 & First Half of CY2010
Nissan’s global production in June increased 38.8% year-on-year to 354,425 units marking an all-time record for a single month. Production in Japan increased 28.6% year-on-year to 100,471 units due to increased output of the new Juke and exports of models such as Murano and Rogue.

Nokia 5250 leaks online!
It would appear Nokia are as loose lipped as Samsung at the moment as the Finns have also let slip about an upcoming product on the Ovi Store support site. Details are thin on the ground at present with all we have to go on based purely on one image but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. The device in question, the Nokia 5250, is a touchscreen candy-bar phone that looks set to join the 5800 , 5230 and 5530 family of music-centric touchscreen devices.

Opera Mini State of the Mobile Web June 2010
Opera have released their State of the Mobile Web report for June 2010, and as well as general browsing habits they have also looked at visits to mobile sports websites, to tie in with the recent World Cup. Opera Mini is available on a wide range of handsets, across all platforms and handset types. The app really comes into its own on mid range devices that come with an average default web browser, but is even popular on Android devices and the iPhone, even though the default browser on those products is generally very good.
