I remember when I was able to store just about every document that I ever wanted on a single 1.44MB floppy disk. That was a very long time ago and I don’t know anyone who still uses the format. HTC Wildfire set to be released with Android 2.1

At a recent press conference in Germany HTC has officially announced a Q3 release of their latest handset called Wildfire.  This new HTC Unlocked (Wildfire) device  is set to be released in Europe and Asia later this year.  The new smartphone will come equipped with quadband GSM and 900/1200 MGz UMTS/HSDAP radios to the Android 2.1 operating system as well as a Qualcomm MSM 7225 processor running at 525MHz.  Other specs for this new handset include HTC’s Sense UI, 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 802.11b/g WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 512 MB Flash and 384 MB of RAM, and microSD expansion.
