Google Gets Denied for Google Nexus One Trademark Acquisition
Found under: Google , Trademark , Nexus One , , In case you were not aware of it Google has filed for the trademark acquisition of Nexus One on December 10 2009 but unfortunately for the Mountain View based company did not receive the go ahead for said trademark.Why you ask Well it looks like Nexus has been already trademarked in 2008 by Integra Telecom which means that Google wont at least for now be getting the Nexus trademark they want.

Canon Releases a Fix to the 5D MK II latest Firmware Audio Bug.
As you may have heard yesterday, Canon latest Firmware for the 5D MK II, the so called 2.0.3 included a nasty bug where audio tracks was not saved while using C1/C2 or C3 Custom Image Modes… Anyway let’s put this on the side since Canon released in Japan a new firmware upgrade, the 2.0.4 that just fix this problem once for all… As far as I am concerned, I will wait next week to get my batch of 5D MK II and 7D bodies for an upcoming review to test this new firmware before applying it on mine !

27-Inch LED Cinema Display, Mac Pro Update Coming by June?
AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is planning to release a 27-Inch LED Cinema Display and a Mac Pro refresh by June. The 27-Inch Cinema Display is said to look very similar to Apple’s current 24-inch Cinema Display that was released in October of 2008. Two people familiar with the upcoming display say its been lingering in Apple’s labs for quite sometime, where it’s frequently referenced by the unique identifier/codename “K59.” The Mac maker is believed to have been waiting patiently for the cost of the larger LCD panels, which sport a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, to shed some of their premium before introducing the model to market.

HTC the manufacturer of many Android and Windows Mobile phones, has issued a statement arguing against claims made by Apple in their patent infringement suit they filed early this month. “HTC disagrees with Apple’s actions and will fully defend itself. HTC strongly advocates intellectual property protection and will continue to respect other innovators and their technologies as we have always done, but we will continue to embrace competition through our own innovation as a healthy way for consumers to get the best mobile experience possible,” said Peter Chou, chief executive officer, HTC Corporation.

Not officially announced, yet but the reports have it that Acer’s previous Aspire netbook tablets 1820PT and 1820PTZ, which were launched in Europe in October last year and apparently have never arrived in the US, got updated and soon to be available in Europe. The updated versions are 1825 PT and 1825 PTZ. In their keynote Microsoft revealed many features that will be at the disposal of programmers looking to dive into the Windows Phone 7 Series platform. Some of these features include: Accelerometer support Microsoft Location Service to provide developers with a single point of reference to acquire location information Microsoft Notification Service for pushing information to the phone, regardless of whether or not an application is running Hardware-accelerated video with digital rights management (DRM) Internet Information Services Smooth Streaming for the industry’s highest quality content viewing experience Multitouch Camera and microphone support To assist developers and get them started quickly Microsoft is offering a suite of free developer tools which include Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone 7 Series, a free add-in to use with Visual Studio 2010 RC, XNA Game Studio 4.0, Windows Phone 7 Series Emulator for application testing, and a version of Expression Blend for Windows Phone.
