Canada, Germany, and 9 other countries can now make use of Google turn-by-turn Navigation
Today, Google has taken a very giant leap forward by providing free turn-by-turn directions for 11 different European countries. If you are a unlocked smartphone users with Android 1.6 or higher and you live in France, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, or Switzerland, you can now avail of these extended features built into Google Maps.

FCC goes spectrum hunting
It has been rumored that the FCC is now hunting for more mobile broadband spectrum so as to make it available to a greater number of providers within the next 10 years. As part of its efforts to make sure that 500 MHz spectrum will be made available for the mobile broadband in 10 years, 300 MHz is stated for availability within the next 5 years.
