Sony’s new FVA-U1, is the world’s smallest and lightest USB finger vein reader
I am sure that you all have heard about the “Vein pattern recognition” ,a new biometric method (known within Sony as mofiria) allowing access to sensitive data or devices that instead of reading your fingerprints will in fact read your hands or finger vein patterns to whether or not grant you access to your device or data. And today, Sony announced the world’s smallest and lightest USB Finger vein reader named FVA-U1. It is scheduled to be sold within Japan from December 18

Epson’s new Core 2 Duo Endeavor NA501E is just FREAKING SLIM !
For just 84.840 Yen, which is actually cheaper than some High-end BS Netbooks available in Japan, Epson succeed to propose a nice and sleek 13.3” Notebook which happens to be just 20mm thick! Now to make things even more interesting, Epson also includes a Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU (1.4GHz), 1GB of RAM (4GB Max), 160GB of HDD (250 and 500GB at 7200rpm HDD also available), Wifi BGN and Gigabit LAN… If 84.840 Yen is still too much for you, Epson also have a cheaper Celeron model running with a 743 CPU sold at 64.890 Yen… Now just let me know why, OH why should I own a Netbook ? …

Elecom new M-D17DR mouse now both PC and MAC friendly

RED Scarlet now official…
Not sure if you all ever heard about RED, a US based company, but basically they are providing with the best, 2,3 and 4k video camera in the world. Although extremely expensive, RED’s cameras are a must and something I would love to won one day… And maybe, yes maybe this dream will come true with the “Cheap” Scarlet, an Hybrid DSLR and Video Camera supporting 3k video up to 120fps and 1080p video up to 30fps in its $4750 version (2/3″ sensor brain+lens, CF module, REDMote, 2.8″ touch LCD, battery, and charger.)
